Hi. I am Jay Martin Silvers. Thank you for taking an interest.  As far back as I can recall I was always interested in Astrology. I am a
Leo and I always read the mugs, posters, diner place mats, etc. with descriptions of Leo and they were always accurate. There
were however, parts of me that Leo didn’t describe and I always wondered what those were about.

In the late 1980’s I worked with a woman who always read the NY Post Horoscope column by Patrick Walker. Well, from day one
he pegged me to the wall. If he said legal troubles today, Id go home and find a lawsuit stuck in my front door. For about the first
year we read them at the end of the day to judge the accuracy, to insure we didn’t influence our decisions based on what he said.
After that first year he was so accurate not only did I start reading the column earlier in the day but also I needed to know how he
did it! I could also recognize the limitations of the Sun Sign column in that Leo wasn't always the answer and sometimes the other
signs seemed more appropriate.

During this time my wonderful sister Michelle bought me my first Astrology book for my birthday, “The Astrologer’s Handbook” by
Sakoian and Acker. I held onto it and didn’t read it for a while until one day it just came over me and I picked it up and started
reading and have been at it since. Astrologically, I now know I was having my Saturn Return.

I spent many years studying and doing chart after chart, learning every topic I could. I took classes where I could find them and
have found heaven in the Podcast world recently. I have helped many people on this Journey using Astrology and its one thing
that always makes me feel good. People seem to find me mostly when they are in crisis, but of course I help all. I guess that’s my
bailiwick!  I have to truthfully say I owe my life to Astrology. Without it I would have probably killed myself when I was younger.
Astrology allowed me to see and understand not only things about myself that I couldn’t pin down, but also showed me ways that I
would never had thought of or done on my own that made it possible to circumvent, route and use all that was going on and to find
a way to balance and live with it all that was within my abilities.

Do I think the stars affect us directly? I don’t know or profess to know. Its a great record keeping system, that much I know. The
hindsight is great, its the foresight that's the challenge! I also know that I see it as a repeatable process. If I put the same data in I
get the same answer out. The Astronomy is perfect, the interconnectedness of the planets in their cycles is unquestionable, the
math doesn’t get any better! It’s we Men that assign meaning to it all. Every Astrologer has his or her own viewpoint, specialties,
and interests so the interpretation is only as good as the interpreter.

Finally, the sweet doggie in the picture with me is Honey. She is a rescue dog. Last doggie in the last cage at the end of the aisle
in the last chance doggie-mobile. My Son with the heart of gold picked her out. Thanks to C.W. for the design help. And yes,
green is my favorite color, how did you know?
