Well my, my well, there’s lots going on, and finally in a positive direction. We are at time where Venus and Jupiter, the lesser and greater benefics, are both stationary direct on 11/18/2010 ending their retrograde periods. Before Jupiter goes direct it will make an aspect of ease and flow to the Sun on 11/15/2010, meaning that you (the Sun) will receive Jupiter’s abundance easily. This could mean you can easily go overboard or easily have the faith to go forward. As always, we choose which path we will take from those afforded us. Also on the 18th, prior to the direct motions of Jupiter and Venus, the Sun will square Neptune, an irritation. Why should it be easy? This councils us to be careful as the energy starts to flow and things seem possible again; to keep your head on your shoulders. Between Scorpio’s affinity for “subterfuge” and Neptune’s desire to confuse or confound the situation, please think clearly about what you are deciding upon. Saturn will be helping here as it will sextile Mercury on 11/17/2010 setting the stage. Use Saturn’s influence to see the mature, responsible side of things. Right after on 11/19/2010 the Sun will aspect Uranus, planet of erratic change, “of all of a suddens”. Here Uranus works well with the Sun. So if we look at the overall picture, we have the direct flowing energy starting to happen, book ended by the Sun’s trines to Jupiter before and Uranus afterwards. This has those of us who are itching for change ready to jump, but remember, think clearly or you may be jumping off the cliff without your parachute! And keep in mind the overriding theme of this timeframe which is the implementation and fine tuning of what we are going to be, see, and do next year. Think back to the end of last April when we were shedding the relationships that no longer worked, that’s when Jupiter entered into the shadow period. It went retrograde on 07/23/2010 in the midst of the summer’s intense Pluto, Uranus, Jupiter and Saturn aspects. How do these timeframes work into where you are now? The direct motion will cover the same ground again and won’t leave the shadow until 02/09/2011. Early 2011 is packed full with activity setting the next phases of ours and the worlds lives. All this leads up to the Full Moon on 11/21/2010. This full Moon occurs at 29 degrees Taurus. When something occurs in the last degrees of a sign it is signifying the ending of that cycle of being and the entry into the next, the learning of the lessons that sign, in this case Scorpio has to offer and the beginning of the new signs lessons. Scorpio taught us to stay the course, to look critically at things, to be aware of our emotions but not necessarily be emotional. Sagittarius wants us to expand, to grow, to change. Seek what we desire and go for it. There have been a few late degree occurrences lately and a few more coming including the next 3 full Moons. This shows we are on the precipice, the edge of the cliff. We have lived, loved, and lost and now are ready to move on. To seek the fulfillment of what we have started. Several hours after the full Moon the Sun goes into Sagittarius, the sign ruled by Jupiter, joining Mars and Mercury already there. Since the Sun will have recently trined Jupiter and Jupiter had just gone direct, the Sun is already imbued with the Sagittarian energy before it even gets there. In a nutshell? Hope, optimism and cheer are on the plate finally. Things will begin to proceed but have caution as this is the start of the journey, and in all things Astrological, the journey is colored from the start by the symbols and the symbols speak of abundance, love, faith, and hope. Have the patience to let things take their course without forcing it. Later down the week Mercury will make an irritating aspect to Jupiter on 11/25/2010, a cooperative aspect to Neptune and an irritating aspect to Uranus on 11/27/2010. This screams of running off at the mouth and not knowing the damage you are causing. Enjoy the scenery but keep your opinions to yourself if you want a fun Thanksgiving. The makings are there, will you be a juicy or dry Turkey? Details: Click on the aspect to view the chart. Jupiter Direct on 11/18/2010 at 11:55A EST. Venus Direct on 11/18/2010 at 4:19P EST. The synchronicity of the planets continues to amaze. The focus of the current period is the New Moon in Scorpio on 11/06/2010 at 12:52A EDT. What is so amazing about this new moon is that it happens on the same on degree that Venus went retrograde on 10/08/2010. This clearly ties the two events together. While Venus is still retrograde, the day after the new moon it will leave Scorpio and enter Libra. This reflects the opportunity to integrate the lessons learned while Venus was in Scorpio into the new beginnings symbolized by the new moon. The new moon is opposite the Midheaven for Washington, DC, a place of prominence in the chart. It reflects the beginning of a new phase for home life, family, and the ability to balance these with the career and our quest for status. Scorpio is often considered hard, unyielding, and manipulative but look at it from the balancing side; the ability to stick to a plan and to coordinate all that is required to achieve the goal. The new moon completes the prior cycle and initiates the next. Right afterwards also on 11/06/2010 Mercury will square Neptune and then trine Uranus. This implies that you may speak with a forked tongue or in other words, not communicate clearly, spreading lies or falsehoods, and probably loudly or erratically too. It is a time to be very careful and clear on what you want to say or don’t say it. Wait until Neptune goes direct on 11/07/2010 and things will be much clearer. Following that Venus retrograde enters Libra again and on 11/08/2010 Mercury will enter Sagittarius (where Mars currently is). See “CURRENTLY Archives - October” page for a Venus retrograde time table. Finally Pluto will meet the Moon’s nodes in Capricorn on 11/09/2010 with the Moon itself within 1 degree of that point. What does all this mean? In a Nutshell? Neptune and Pluto are outside influences; The Moon, Venus and Mercury are your personal influences. Outside changes forcing you to take a real look at your future development and analyze the past issues may cloud things, bringing fear and confusion, but the ability to see past the “crap” is now there. Find your inner balance, inspect your remaining relationships to see if you have done the proper work and know that the fiery power to exert yourself and express your feelings is available. It puts a highlight on the emotions and how we are going to restrain them (Capricorn) for our greater good. This does not mean to bottle them up but to be mature about it all. How can you integrate your emotions into the mix to help attain the growth and development you seek? The Pluto aspect may cause some upheaval, especially to those in cardinal signs (Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, and Libra) but I’m sure those signs have been feeling it for a while already. After 11/09/2010 there will be a few quieter days and then it will be time to show what you have learned to the world! Details: Click on the aspect to view the chart.
