| Like an inspiration we will go on Rising tall with our heads held up high Craning our necks to face the mighty Sun Together, each in our own embrace The light shall shine through our petals And this light will nourish the next Some through life and sustenance Others through beauty adorned The higher up that we can reach The closer to the heavens we are We receive the Sun sooner and stronger While others grow to where we have been Illuminated in the Sun’s glory Light shining off and through leaf and stem Petals glowing as if God was nearby There’s no reason to even wonder why |
