Talk about a busy time period! The last few weeks have included many steps along the path that we have all seen coming for a
while. There have been Lunar and Solar Eclipses that have pushed the issues we have been trying to avoid and now the final
plays are coming into focus. On 7/21/2010 Saturn will enter Libra for good until its exit in 2 years. On 07/22/2010 the Sun
will enter Leo which it rules. On 7/26/2010 Saturn will oppose Uranus for the final of 5 oppositions begun on Election Day
2008 (remember Barack Obama?). These are times to step up and deal, not to hide from what you know needs to be done.
Saturn is the Task Master. Yes its all about the Sun, and the Moon, etc. but and I mean but, Saturn sets the pace for all the rest.
Without authority or restrictions there would be wholesale chaos (Uranus). Saturn represents the outer boundary of our
knowledge, our consciousness. Uranus represents the first of the outer planets, that which is outside of us, that which is
generational in nature. When we do not want to deal with something, be it un-pleasant, un-wanted, or whatever we take it from
Saturn and push it off to Uranus for safe keeping, for denial, for us to be able to ignore and hide from it. Periodically Uranus will
push it back into Saturn’s realm at which point we either deal with it appropriately, inappropriately, or we re-sublimate it back to
Uranus. With the Saturn-Uranus opposition Uranus is saying to Saturn, “I’m sorry but you have to deal with this now, I’m not
going to hide it for you any longer!” This has been the backdrop to the last 2 years as Saturn and Uranus have been dancing
around this opposition, perfecting it 4 times already with the 5th and final occurring now. Each of these has been a stepping
stone, a learning point along the path of development. When there are multiple perfections of an aspect due to retrogradation
each is an individual piece of the whole picture with the final aspect giving the final piece of the puzzle. The final opposition has
Saturn rising, a very powerful position. This indicates that Saturn's work will be front and center. In addition, all of the houses are
at 29 degrees of a sign showing that it is a time of nearing completion, of the impact of Saturn and how these decisions will affect
all of your life's situations. The whole world has gone topsy turvey during this time frame due to this aspect, Pluto’s entry into
Capricorn, and its ensuing aspects with Saturn and Uranus. This year so far has been about realizing the truth and shedding
those things that no longer serve us, be they relationships, possessions, ways of being, views of our bodies and our securities.
Now is a time frame when we are called upon to act if we didn’t act (the recent eclipses are the triggers that force these events if
we have not dealt with them) and to continue to act and evaluate the results if we did do as required. Uranus is retrograde and
Saturn is direct. This means that even though we need to act, to implement the things we know to be needed all will not be
finalized until Uranus has completed its retrograde back into Pisces and has returned into Aries in March, 2011. This means that
what we implement now may not be the final version. This is an exploratory period to see what works and what doesn’t. To go
back into our psyche and our inner spaces (Pisces) to assimilate or to discover for once and all what we need to be doing or
what may need adjustment. That does not mean necessarily that what is done now will not be correct, it very well may be, but
identifying that it is what is truly needed is part and parcel of the same process. What about Pluto you say? Where does Pluto
come into all of this? Pluto in Capricorn will square Saturn and Uranus individually several times over the next few years
causing additional chaos and upheaval, stimulating the situations for growth as we need. One main symbol of Pluto is
ruthlessness. Pluto’s addition to the Saturn-Uranus mix is that as part of the process of deciding and implementing what needs to
be done is in order for it to work you will most probably need to be doing that which you do not want to do, to take that “ruthless”
stroke of the knife that you have been fearing and dreading. Chances are if the changes you implement aren’t causing you grief
they probably aren’t the right choices. Pluto is the Phoenix rising from the ashes. You must take the knife and cut away the
dead. Don’t be scared to cut away the relationships that no longer work, just do it. Don’t be afraid to face the fears that hold you
back, cut them away, be ruthless. It’s the only way it will work. The time for pussy-footing around is over and only decisive action
will win out. Pluto will be rising in the Sun’s entry into Leo chart bringing a further emphasis of Pluto’s influence. Before the
Saturn-Uranus opposition Jupiter will go retrograde on 07/23/2010 and will then square Pluto on 07/24/2010. This will give an
extreme emphasis to Pluto’s need to be ruthless, the knife will cut deep. Mercury will oppose Neptune on 07/26/2010 with
the Sun rising in Leo just after the full Moon with Neptune nearly conjunct (next to) Chiron. While all this is going on you will
either be able to manage the fear, the uncertainty or get caught up in the fantasy all over again so watch out for the
sentimentality attacks and don’t let it catch you up! Balance the fear with your intellect, speak from deep within with clarity.
In a Nutshell? It’s all about NEW BEGINNINGS. All of the cardinal energy and most specifically the Aries energy point to new
beginnings. This is the dawn of the next chapter. An integration of the Saturn-Uranus-Pluto energy is no small task but it must be
done if you are to thrive instead of just survive. The old way will no longer work. Putting a band-aid on it won’t achieve the goal
either. The status quo is no longer good. What is needed is a swift cut of the Pluto knife. You do not have to throw away all that
is the past but you must change it around. It’s about the tough choices; those that make us grow and develop. Now is the first
day of the rest of your life, do you want to live it whatever the consequences or sink deeper into the mud? It’s not going to be
easy, nor has it been so far, and it will seem like the deck is stacked against you but when you get to the other side and you look
back at the destruction at least you will be standing on two feet. If you have been doing the “good work” you may not find
yourself in crisis at this time but in good standing. Continue on the path but open a critical eye to see where adjustments may be
needed. Look towards the end of July as Mars enters Libra on 07/29/2010 where it will act as a trigger to get things moving
