The Sun enters Cancer on 06/21/2010. This marks not only the beginning of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, but the
beginning trigger of the tumultuous configurations that are going to occur over the next few months.  The entry of the Sun into a
sign represents new energy in a new way. When the Sun goes into a Cardinal sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) it
represents the next 3 months also. As I have previously said this summer promises to be a real trying time for many given the
entry of
Uranus and Jupiter into Aries and Saturn into Libra. These planets will form configurations to each other
and to other points that will redefine our outlooks and lives in general. Many are already experiencing these events and some
are just feeling the energy out there waiting to pounce. I don’t want to paint a totally terrible picture as it is always within ones
power to take any event and turn it to good use. If you thrive on changes and sudden, erratic events fuel your psyche then you
will be in your element. The Sun’s Cancer ingress chart is rife with the symbols we have been discussing.
Venus, planet of
relationships is in the 1st house on the forefront in Leo (on almost the exact degree of the previous Mars in Leo direct point) and
relationships have been a key focus for months. Cancer is a water sign so it will be a more emotional timeframe, and since
Cancer rules the 4th house of home, home and family issues will be paramount. In addition, the Moon is in the 4th house, the
house it naturally rules so it is a further emphasis of the emotional nature of the coming months. The saving grace is the Moon is
in Libra, an air sign, which will give the ability to weigh the consequences, to find a balance between how we feel and what is
going on. Not easy, but possible. As the Moon is in the last degrees of Libra it is a time to learn this lesson before the Moon
goes into Scorpio and all common sense can go out the door. As we have been going through a period of cleansing ourselves of
the relationships and patterns that no longer work for us it makes sense that this timeframe will push those envelopes. Jupiter
and Uranus are in Aries (new beginnings) at the top of the chart reflecting the overall umbrella of change as the main emphasis.
Right after this the Sun will square (challenge) Uranus exactly showing that we are not exactly comfortable with all the changes
going on. Our positions of power and influence are being challenged, and who likes that? Pluto is rising and opposite the Sun in
the 7th house of partnerships. It may come down to learning through our suffering and loss, not the best of choices but if life
gives you lemons…A warning would be to watch what you say or write as Uranus and Jupiter will be in the 3rd house giving the
opportunity to overreact. By the time the Sun squares Jupiter on 06/23/2010 the Moon will be squaring (challenging) Neptune so
as things begin to blow up watch for confusion, illusions, and getting caught up in fantasy. On 06/25/2010
Mercury will follow
the Sun into Cancer. When Mercury is behind the Sun we often find our communications are lagging behind where we are. We
feel, we know, but we cant quite get it out straight. The Sun will conjunct (meet) Mercury on 06/28/2010 which is the end of the
existing Sun/Mercury cycle and the beginning of the next. This chart reflects the need to be mature and considered in our
communications with Saturn in the 3rd house opposite Uranus and Jupiter still. The Moon in Capricorn will be almost exactly
square to the Cancer ingress Moon in Libra so expect the emotional nature of the times to be more challenging at this time.
Mercury will pull in front of the Sun so we may find that we talk before we know what we want to say. Just prior to the Sun
conjunct Mercury is a Lunar Eclipse on 06/26/2010. A
Lunar Eclipse is a Full Moon where the Sun and Moon are near to
the Moon’s nodes. A regular Full Moon is a time when things tend to come to a head, the influences around are often triggered.
Take into account that it is a Lunar Eclipse and a powerful one at that so expect the “you know what” to hit the fan. It’s the
further push of the “do or die” atmosphere. The eclipse chart has Uranus and Jupiter at the top of the chart, once again bringing
the current emphases into play. Most telling is the placement of Pluto. It is nearly exactly next to the Moon in Capricorn and
opposite the Sun in Cancer. Pluto is the planet that desires regeneration. Pluto with the Moon says you will need to change your
emotional makeup, how do you react to things?
In a Nutshell? As the emotions (Moon) are just a reflection of yourself (Sun)
and Pluto and the Moon are opposite the Sun the requirement is to change from deep within. The end of one way and the
beginning of another. The landscape is rapidly changing and with the oncoming Solar eclipse, Pluto square Saturn, and the
Saturn opposition to Uranus change is the key. If you try to hold on you will be crushed by the events that occur to you or to
those you care about. Even if you don’t want it it doesn’t matter. Buck up and take control. If you want to control things you
should have already been in the progress of making the required changes, though, It’s never too late. Take control and guide
your life instead of being guided. New Beginnings means New, not repurposed old! Take what’s best and bring it forward into the
next iteration of yourself. Be ruthless (Pluto) and you will win. Be scared (Neptune) and you will lose. Saturn and Neptune will be
semi-sextile on 06/27/2010. Semi-sextile planets are in signs next to each other, here Pisces and Aquarius. They are not alike
but not different, just not in sync. They don’t really know what to do with each other so resist the Neptune’s “whoa is me’s” and
use the power of Saturn to grow. Its all about growth and development because you cant hide any longer.

The planet Mercury will aspect 5 planets between 06/06/2010 and the New Moon in Gemini on 06/12/2010. The New
Moon is often a trigger for the surrounding events and with its ruler (Mercury rules Gemini) making so many connections the New
Moon is action packed separate and apart from the aspects of the New Moon itself.  Mercury will trine
Saturn, square
Neptune, enter into Gemini (06/10/2010), sextile Uranus and Jupiter, and then finally square Mars on 06/11/2010.
Mercury is how we think, express ourselves through voice and the written word, how we communicate. This will be a challenging
week as we build towards the new cycle of the New Moon. How we communicate over this time period will influence how we take it
all forward. To follow the path of Mercury, we will accept and express ourselves appropriately, with growth and maturity in mind
(Saturn trine). Then the opportunity to get confused, scared, or doubtful about what we brought forth (sextile Neptune) will arise.
As a sextile we don’t have to take this route, we can choose to think positively if we want. Mercury is still in Taurus here so we
are still thinking about our security, our needs. The next day Mercury goes into Gemini. Now Mercury is in its element, what it has
to say needs to be said. The confusion gives way to the need to get it out. Hours later Mercury will sextile Uranus and then
Jupiter. It will all come spilling out. It sounds like it could be a fight or it could just be the opportunity to finally speak your mind,
you decide which. Finally Mars in Virgo will square Mercury (and with Uranus and Jupiter thrown in) it is likely to come out
screaming so be forewarned! The next day is the New Moon itself. Clearly there are things to be said, thought about and
expressed. The impetuous is there but how will it come out? The New Moon for Washington, DC has the Sun and Moon in the
12th house of things hidden deep inside. The Moon’s South Node will be rising almost exactly in Cancer representing the past
spilling forth. Mars is opposite Neptune and Chiron from the 3rd house, which is naturally ruled by Gemini and Mercury further
reflecting the overarching influences. This can bring a very sharp tongue, the desire to lie or confuse, or alternatively to spin
yourself a good story and to believe it. Mercury in Gemini in the 11th house will trine Pluto in Capricorn in the 6th house and
Uranus conjunct Jupiter will be in the 10th house. Lots, did I say Lots of energy abounding.
In a Nutshell? The crazy times are
upon us. How will you handle them? The first things we do as humans are think and then express what we have thought. This is
a warning to clearly look at what we have to say before we say it as there are major ramifications to our actions at this time. The
capability to handle it all responsibly is there. This new moon is the beginning of the next eclipse cycle as the matching Full
Moon on 06/26/2010 will be a Lunar Eclipse right on top of the original protagonist Pluto. The things we set in motion and have
set in motion will begin to coalesce into events and experiences. These points will be triggered and retriggered all summer long
and will come back again next year. As I’ve been saying for a while, trying times are coming, well guess what; they are here on
the doorstep. How will you handle them? Mercury is the closet planet to the sun, the beginning of the path. Express yourself but
do it right. Do it to build forward, not but backwards. By September we will all be looking backwards saying “What in Heaven was
that?”

Saturn goes direct on 05/30/2010 as Neptune goes retrograde on 05/31/2010. Even though they are going in different
directions they have two things in common at the moment. They are both standing still and they will both be moving slowly as
they begin their motion in their opposite directions. Saturn, planet of responsibilities, maturity and growth is going forward so the
tasks and things that should or should have been done will begin to get done. Slowly at first, then full speed. Neptune, planet of
confusion, deception, and illusions is going backwards so you may find at first even though things are going forward you may not
feel better about it all yet and ultimately find things more confusing, or not be aware of aspects of a situation. Watch for
confusing or misleading circumstances. Neptune could also manifest as fear. Fear of finally tackling the situation or phone call
that needs to be made. This is a time of great changes and these planetary movements move us into the right places. By not
following their ebb and flow you may not be in the correct place to take advantage when “opportunity knocks”.  With the recent
entry of
Uranus into Aries, Jupiter’s entry into Aries on 06/06/2010, and its eventual meeting with Uranus on 06/08/2010,
the exit from the Mercury Retrograde shadow on 05/28/2010, and Saturn’s very strong direct chart, the feeling is to jump
forward. Saturn and Neptune council to put your fear to the side and act as you need to but to watch out for getting caught up in
fear and not acting. Listen to your gut. It knows. You just fear listening to it. Keep your emotions in check. This is especially
prevalent in relationships as the
Moon is conjunct the North Node, opposite Venus conjunct the South Node all
crossing the 10th/4th houses while Jupiter and Uranus are both in the 7th house of marriage/relationships.  All of the previous
month’s Venus transits which counseled the need to be rid of your non-working relationships are stacked up here. The Nodes
bring a “fate” quality to it. Career, authority, home, and family relationships are emphasized.
Mars will oppose Neptune on
06/04/2010 causing you to act on cloudy information or to be unnecessarily careless. It will be close enough on the Saturn and
Neptune charts to help push the confusion as an ongoing theme so watch analytically (Mars will soon go into Virgo and Saturn is
still in Virgo) what seems to scare or confuse you, what situations are getting in your way, so that you can recognize them later
on and know them for what they are, just a recurring fear. In each of these charts Saturn is rising making it very powerful, giving
backwards emphasis to the Saturn direct chart. Jupiter and Uranus in Aries is naturally a 1st/7th house relationship as Aries
rules the 1st house. Jupiter, the planet that emphasizes everything, both good and bad, will enter Aries on 06/06/2010 with Aries
rising and will be conjunct the Moon and Uranus nearly exact.  Mars is in the last moments of Leo, about to enter Virgo and
Pluto, the planet that started all this when it entered Capricorn (90 degrees to Aries) will be almost exactly conjunct the
Midheaven for Washington, DC. Then when Jupiter Conjuncts Uranus the Moon’s South Node will be rising.
In a nutshell? It’s
all about new beginnings. Did I say New Beginnings? If you’ve followed my forecasts you will see it has all been pointing this
direction. This does not mean that everything must end and all relationships should be jettisoned but that even that which is old
needs to be reborn to continue to live. Growth! It's all about growth and development. With the strong Moon emphases emotions
will be high and will show themselves for sure, but allow Saturn to help temper them. Use this as a test of your emotional muscle,
that’s what its there for, to show you that you can do it. Saturn sets the pace for the rest to follow. Saturn is the growth, the rest
of the planets and placements are bringing it about. And now they are pushing the development part. It's time. The Moon’s
Nodes which figure strongly in many of these charts are in Capricorn/Cancer. We need to look at the past, our homes and
families to see how we can go forward and succeed. How we can gain our best. Take the best from the past and use it to build
your new face, your new future. Good Luck! Jupiter is luck so take it where you can get it).
