The coming Full Moon on 10/22/2010 at 9:37P EDT is the scaffolding upon which the preceding and following planetary
combinations hang. It is the culmination point of the cycle begun on 10/07/2010, just before Venus went retrograde.
Preceding the full moon was the Sun/Mercury union on 10/16/2010 (In a very favorable position too I might add as it is
conjunct the fixed star Spica) and Mercury’s entry into Scorpio on 10/20/2010. Right after the full moon the Sun will enter
Scorpio on 10/23/2010 at 8:35A EDT. We see the beginnings of some cycles building off of the culmination of others. During
this period there is a backdrop of Neptune activity. Neptune is working his magic to confuse and confound, to inspire and
carry you away, for good or ill depending on your strength. . After the Sun and Mercury conjunction they each trined Neptune
which makes it easy for them all to work together. You can channel the inspiration or you can get lost in illusions and fantasies.
This will feel more internal than external initially as Venus is retrograde causing you to hold back and thanks to Mars, possibly
seethe, or at the least feel a discomfort. Mars, planet of action is on its way however to release it all if you haven’t already.
Mars will square Neptune on 10/22/2010 by which time the irritation will make itself known. This may be especially loud or violent
shall we say as Mars will still be in close trine to Jupiter, planet of emphasis, from their trine on 10/20/2010. Mars rules Scorpio
and will trine Uranus on 10/24/2010, the day after the Sun enters Scorpio. In a nutshell? Keep in mind the prevailing theme:
Taking steps forward as needed, cleansing ourselves of the unneeded, and developing a new approach to take us forward in
the current reality. Consider how the possibility of an emotional and/or delusional outburst or implosion would affect the long
term goal. If you find yourself moody and picking for a fight to solve it all, take a step back, whether that fight is with someone
else or yourself. An opportunity for what needs to be done will perfect on 10/26/2010 as the Sun sextiles Pluto. Pluto is the
co-ruler of Scorpio and the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars are all in Scorpio. Do you want to wield the surgeon’s knife as
needed or aimlessly cut hoping to succeed without consideration to the carnage? Both will probably work, but the Sun/Venus
conjunction is on the horizon. Scorpio is fixed water, otherwise known as ice! Use the ability of Scorpio to stick to its desires to
stick to your desire to see reality, not be tempted by the demons, and to have the mercy to strike quickly and gently when you
act. And act you must!

Go ahead, you can breathe! For the last month we have all been struggling with relationship issues, issues of self-worth, and an
overall desire for peace and quiet. After last weeks screaming and crying this week is a time of realization. The new beginnings
taking place need to be looked at and reviewed. Whatever has you boiling inside, now is the time for introspection as Venus
goes retrograde on 10/08/2010. Keep in mind this is part of the Sun/Venus cycle, how you interrelate and feel about
yourself, which all leads up to your sense of security. Our need for security often drives everything else.
Here are the key dates and what to look for:
09/05 – (When Venus entered the shadow of the retrograde) – What were the influences and key issues of the last month?
These will be in play for the whole period.
10/08 – (Venus Retrograde) – A time when you may be feeling stifled or shut down, champing at the bit inside yet being held
back for some reason.
10/28 – (When Venus crosses the Sun) – A time of confrontation between yourself (your ego) and the issues at hand. Yet, also
a time when you may feel the pressure release some as a result of the tension.
11/07 – (When Venus leaves Scorpio and goes back into Libra where it is the ruler) – This will bring some needed balance to
your relentless and ruthless self reflection. You may give a short sigh of relief!
11/19 – (Venus goes Direct) – You will find yourself beginning to implement and go forward enjoying the fruits of your review
period.
11/30 – (Venus re-enters Scorpio) – A time when you will take off the kid gloves and start to really get down to business.
12/20 – (Venus leaves the shadow of the Rx) – You begin to integrate with new experiences and people instead of going over
old ground. The hounds are fully unleashed! Now that you know this, no problem right?
Another of the personal cycles is ending and beginning at the same time. Things with Mercury, our pal the trickster, are
winding down after last weeks culminating storm as Mercury crosses the Sun on 10/16/2010 starting the next Sun/Mercury
cycle. What you initiate here, how you communicate to the world will be in deep focus due to the concurrent Venus activity. It
makes sense that in order to improve our relationships and self worth we need to improve how we communicate with others and
ourselves. Pay attention to the next two months as these experiences will be the focus during the next Mercury Rx on 12/10 (It
goes direct on 12/29). This is normally a stressful period due to the Holidays without the added mis-communications of the
retrograde. If you can see the “Forest for the Trees” it can be that much better a time. This will also overlap a period of
confusion that could lead to violence or the ability to grasp the illusion for what it is, a fantasy, and act against it instead of as its
mindless tool. In a Nutshell? As the Spring and Summer were times of great upheaval, the Fall and Winter will be about figuring
out what to do now. Taking a realistic look at what is true is the key to success, not what we would like to be true, or what we can
convince ourselves of. When you’re not sure if you’re nuts or not, just hear in the back of your head “Jay said to look for the
fantasy and see past it”, to Live in the now! This all leads to the Spring, a time of true renewal, when things will start going
forward in earnest as Uranus enters Pisces for good. More upheaval may be at hand for some and for others it will be a very
painful time. Will you be on Sturdy legs and weather the storm or will you be knocked down and blown away for good this time? If
you haven’t yet risen up to go forward, now is the time to catch up fast. You can always rise up, but it doesn’t do as much good
for you if you’ve already missed the bus!

Shine on Harvest Moon! A Full Moon at 0 degrees Aries occurs on 09/23/2010 at 5:17A EDT. The Sun, the source of that
magical shine from the Moon, enters Libra first on 09/22/2010 at 11:09P EDT. Aries and Libra, both represent beginnings,
phases of the whole chapter. 0 Degrees, an absolute beginning. But a Full Moon, a culmination at the time of new beginnings is
the key. With Saturn in Libra, Pluto in Capricorn, and Uranus and Jupiter’s pending return to Aries from Pisces now is an
important step along the ongoing path of these outer planets as they continue to interact in these signs over the next several
years. The major tone of the Summer was change, the end of one way and the beginning of the next. Now Fall is a time where
we are analyzing the changes we’ve made or figuring out the ones we need to make. This will continue on through until March
when Uranus enters back into Aries for the next 7 years. That which is held back will go forward. That which has been tried
and corrected will take off. How many things that you are already aware of are peaking or have relevant events next March? Let
alone centered around March 12? As the Sun entered Libra it was opposite the union of Uranus, Jupiter and the Moon in Pisces.
The Moon is bringing change out of the depths into the light. All the symbols combining and re-combining. We are coming out of
the home, surfacing during the end of the storm. The Sun will square Pluto days later on 09/25/2010. This will be a trigger to
further reinforce the need for a transformation. Watch for danger but don’t be intimidated to wield the knife and make the cuts
called for. Saturn is still in charge here which means if you do the tough work, you can reap the benefits. This time it will not
be handed to you. On 09/27/2010 Mercury will exit the shadow of the last retrograde which will be a time when things that finally
started going forward 2 weeks ago take off, but only just so far as Venus and Mars will be meeting on 10/03/2010 days
before Venus goes retrograde. In a Nutshell? More two steps forward and one step backwards. Try it out but then review. See
