Saturn Squares Pluto on 01/31/2010 at 4:24P EST. This is the second of three times this waning aspect will occur. The first
was on 11/15/2009 and the third and final will be on 8/21/2010. The square is an aspect that represents a stimulation of energy.
If you are in a good place it can just be a nudge to get off your seat and carry on. If not in a good place this energy can
represent an irritation or issue. Due to retrogradation (planets appearing to go forwards, then backwards, then forwards again)
Saturn will square Pluto will occur 3 times. Each must be taken in the context of the others with the first two as the lead up to the
final one. As this is the second we need to look at the first event and integrate in the second event as part of the analysis of the
final event. When looking at all three together there are some common points and ideas. Due to Mars’ retrograde activity in Leo
over the last several months Mars will be in a similar position in the first two charts, with them very prominent in the final chart as
the Mars’ of chart 1 and 2 will be on the Ascendant of the final event. Mars is a call to Action. In chart 1, Mars is opposite Jupiter.
This clearly sets a tone of action and extreme energy intensity. Jupiter is in the 2nd house with Chiron and Neptune showing
deep issues of self worth and past hurts will be in focus (if Neptune doesn’t cloud your view). In the chart 2 Mars moves into the
1st house, the house of your sense of self, who you are. Issues of self worth, value and possessions will integrate into who you
are. Will you get past the past and be who you are supposed to be? Will you take the ability and desire to act and act? What is
going on now will evolve as Mars is Retrograde. The action is stalled, but it will go forward. Look closely and you will see you’ve
actually been going forward, just little baby steps. In chart 3 a new Venus/Mars cycle is about to begin. Mars is next to Venus in
Libra in the 3rd house which could mean we finally find balance in what we say, how we communicate in our relationships. How
can I take advantage of our common traits and be more like you? The Venus/Mars cycle started on 06/21/2009 (Father’s Day)
@ 15TAURUS15. The Ascendant for that chart is 1 degree from the Ascendant in the Final waning Saturn square Pluto chart.
The recent Venus opposite Mars on 01/27/2010, the culmination of the cycle has Mars at the Midheaven and Venus on the
Descendant of the final square chart. As there are many issues going on now in everyone’s lives and in this country there are
many things going on in these charts. The people, your emotions are represented by the Moon. The Moon is in the 6th house in
the final chart and is next to the Moons Nodes of the first two occurrences. The Moon is in the 1st house in Virgo in the second,
current chart. Virgo is the natural ruler of the 6th house. The 6th house represents health, work, and service. The Sun of the
final chart is opposite Chiron the wounded healer and Neptune both in Aquarius from the 1st house. All hurts will be exposed,
what will you do with them? Conquer (Saturn) or go deeper into the fear (Neptune) and agony. There are many world changing
astrological events that will be happening over the rest of this year of which Saturn square Pluto is one of the main backdrops.
Saturn has been opposing Uranus over the last 2 years and will complete the 5th occurrence in between the last two Saturn
Square Plutos. As everything is in the context of its own cycle this is the final square of Saturn and Pluto before the beginning of
the new Saturn/Pluto cycle on 01/12/2020. The current cycle began on 11/07/1982 @ 27LIBRA35 in the 5th house for
Washington, DC. There were 3 waxing squares during 1993-1994 and there were 3 oppositions during 2001-2002. The number
of points relevant to each of these phases that occur in each others charts is astounding including the next cycle in 2020. Most
importantly are the Moon’s Nodes square in both the conjunction charts of this cycle and the next and the Moon’s nodes of the
opposition charts opposite the Moon’s Nodes of the next cycle. The 2020 chart has Saturn, Pluto, Sun, and Mercury all within 2
degrees of each other on the Midheaven (strong strong strong) all at approx 22CAP which is the position of the Moon’s Nodes in
the first two waning Saturn square Pluto charts and Venus is opposite the Sun of the Final square all in 2009 - 2010. This shows
how critical this time period is to the next 10 years of our lives and our society. If these current squares are used to correct your
path wisely it can be an amazing time of self transformation and growth. In a nutshell? Saturn, planet of Maturity and Growth
squaring Pluto planet of extreme transformation and upheaval, of abandoning the old ways and people that do not work means
that we will be further reviewing and relinquishing that which no long works for us. We will have the ability to balance our selves
and our pain, our hurts. Can we get past them? Can we heal ourselves and each other? Deep inner growth will be reflected as
deep outer growth here. The people will call for health reform. The people will call for job reform. You will say I’m no longer going
to be treated this way to all who have held you down. With the Moon in Virgo in the 2nd house opposite Jupiter in Pisces in the
8th house in the second chart (the current one) issues of self worth are paramount to the discussion. The work you do now on
resolving how you feel about your emotions and how that affects your sense of self, your dignity, your respect for yourself will
color where and how you react during the last square in August. We need to clean ourselves up first to go forward and help
others. The times they are a changin! Look at late 1982. What ended then, what started? Look at 1993-1994, how were those
events stimulated to change during this time? Look at 2001-2002, did you see the fruit of your labors or did you find out things
weren’t going as you had hoped? Look at 2009-2010, how are these same events stimulated now? If you were successful in
2001 what changes of course are now needed to adapt to your current situation? If unsuccessful and you have been trying to
build towards another try, what needs to be adjusted now? 10 years from now do you want to be standing tall or looking small? If
we take the path shown here now we can get there then!

The SUN trines SATURN on 01/24/2010 at 10:37A EST right on the heels of VENUS trines Saturn on 01/22/2010 at
1:07A EST. Both Venus and Saturn have been in focus over the last several weeks. We talked about the cold hard
responsibilities and facts of the present and future. We let our peace (Venus) be upset. We took responsibility (Saturn) and went
forward. If we used the energy from the recent squares (stimulations towards review) correctly we can begin to see the benefits
of our actions. We can see that there might be something to it. With the influence of the Sun it is easier to implement if not done
already, if so easier to continue on and do even better! The impetuous for change yet the feeling of being stalled (Mars
Retrograde) may feel more emphasized as Venus opposes MARS on 01/27/2010 at 12:29A EST. The call to action is upon us.
Even though it may not feel possible this is a time you can take that action or realize that you have been going forward, just
slower than you wished. Now you can feel the benefit of not only the Saturn trines but of the energy to continue brought on by
the opposition. Mars will be on the Midheaven (The “overhead” position) for Washington, DC in the 10th house and Venus in the
4th house. Venus and the Sun straddle the 4th house cusp. This is a very strong Mars, as its in Leo ruled by the Sun at the top
of the chart even though its retrograde. This clearly points to actions relative to your career, authority figure, a need to balance
home with career, maturity with adolescence, husband/father and wife/mother. As the week continues the Sun will oppose Mars
on 01/29/2010 at 2:43P EST. In a nutshell? Can you see the pattern, the transfer of the creative energies of Venus to the Sun
and Mars for implementation after the careful review and analysis that Saturn demanded? Venus has been next to the Sun for
weeks conveying its messages to the Sun. Whatever has been cooking should be ready for a first taste! Remember, Mars
retrograde will be back over this same turf in a few months so its not too late, nor is it over.

Jupiter, planet of Luck, Fortune, and unimpeded growth enters into Pisces on 01/17/2010 at 9:11 pm EST. Jupiter is the
traditional ruler of Pisces. It is accustomed to this sign, it works well here. Jupiter will be in this sign for 1 year. In the chart for
Washington, DC, Jupiter is in the 6th house of work, service, and health. It is accompanied in the 6th house by Chiron, Neptune
(the modern ruler of Pisces) and the Moon in Aquarius all still closely conjunct (next to each other). This reflects the deep hurt
that many in this country are experiencing now. What can we all do to help? This is closely followed by Venus (01/18/2010 at
9:35 am EST) and the Sun (01/19/2010 at 11:28 pm EST) entering Aquarius. This provides the ability for each of us to step
back, to be able to remove our selves from the emotional aspects and be able to do what needs to be done. With the Moon in
Aquarius during Jupiter’s entry into Pisces it shows the people must be involved. Pisces is more emotional than Aquarius so it’s
advising that while there is an “emotional Jupiter” we need to continue to have perspective. Saturn in Libra in the 1st house
makes a 90 degree angle of tension, stimulation of energy to Pluto and Mercury in Capricorn in the 4th house showing the
continuing restrictions to the home. Saturn in the 1st house personalizes it even more. What can we do to help? Home, health
care, and jobs; all is involved here. With the Sun still conjunct Venus in the 5th house of the Sun entering Aquarius chart we see
ourselves (and the government) still trying to make peace with ourselves (and the rest of the government), gambling that it can
be pulled off. This configuration’s relationship to the Midheaven shows that it isn’t going to work. It’s up to us all to take control of
our lives and to help others where we can. Pisces is the sign of the care-taker. Ask most health-care professionals, especially
nurses and you will find many Pisces or Pisces influences.
In a nutshell? Jupiter in Pisces will bring out the extremes in these issues. Look around you. We are accepting the world as it is
now and it’s a mess. The Sun in Aquarius chart emphasizes Us in our homes, settling into the future as best we can. The Moon
conjunct Uranus in Pisces in the 6th house shows the people effecting change. On a personal level it shows what some may call
a hardening of the heart, but is really that ability to detach and review. It’s back to the times of helping your neighbor, building
relationships, speaking out against the wrong. The past is a powerful draw. To succeed we must all have a home and security,
what will you do for yourself and for others? For Pisces, this is traditionally your time, but be careful of over sensitivity and over-
exaggeration of your fantasies (both good and bad). For Virgo, you will need to balance all of this new energy and power you will
feel with your more practical nature. Live a little louder, it won’t hurt. Gemini’s and Sagittarian’s will feel this emphasis as a
trigger, a push from the direction you may not want it. You may find your natural traits for chatting and travel over doing it. Watch
for too much. For Cancer’s and Scorpio’s, you may feel like someone took off the seat belt and you are flying fast and easy, but
be careful, you don’t want to go too far. Leo’s will notice the reduction of the “intensity” but with Mars still in Leo you may not
notice as much yet. Aquarian’s, I hope you already bought your lottery tickets because Jupiter is leaving your sign. Taurus and
Capricorn have the opportunity to integrate this energy into themselves, but be careful of getting muddy. For Aries things should
be tamer, less overblown. As Pisces is the sign next to Aries you will feel Jupiter coming but not really know what to do with it.
You will get a taste of the future in June when Jupiter enters into Aries for the Summer before it retrogrades back into Pisces in
September where it will then remain in late Pisces until January, 2011 when it re-enters Aries for the next year.

Continuing with the Venus opportunities for relationship review, self re-evaluation and valuing others initiated on Xmas with
the Venus conjunct (meets) Pluto we come to the Sun conjunct Venus on 01/11/2010 at 4:05p EST. Things are kicking off and
won’t stop for a while to come. This marks the beginning of the Sun/Venus cycle. Here is where you will have to incorporate the
reality you have been acknowledging and accepting and take it forward. I want to note that this cycle starts on the same zodiac
degree that Mercury went Retrograde on the day after XMAS. It means you must take the things you have been reviewing and
thinking about and integrate them in. Action may feel stalled but its time to hit the trail. Venus will sextile Uranus (a sextile is a 60
degree angle representing the opportunity for the two energies to work together) on 01/13/2010 at 4:49a EST and on the same
day the Sun will sextile Uranus at 1:43p EST. Any changes in self image or relationships (Venus) would have a greater
opportunity (sextile) to be put into motion (Uranus). Even just accepting something is more symbolism than you can imagine.
Just do it! This day you probably can get away with it.
All of this is in the context of the upcoming events; Saturn goes retrograde on 01/13/2010 at 10:58a EST, there is a Solar
Eclipse on 01/15/2010 at 2:11a EST which is one leg of a configuration called a Yod or Finger of God with the Midheaven in
Washington, DC, and Uranus with the focal point opposite the triumvirate of Chiron (exact), Neptune and Jupiter.This is a
configuration showing the need to integrate not opposing ideas but different ideas with no real common ground with each other
by not picking one or the other but coming up with something different all involved can agree on. Sounds like Health care in
America? Talk about monster energy.
And finally, Mercury finally goes direct on 01/15/2010 at 11:52a EST. Did I say finally? I’m writing this 3 computers later than
when Mercury went Retrograde! Next week 3 more cycles will be set in motion as Jupiter enters Pisces, and the Sun and Venus
enter Aquarius. More on those to come. There is a lot of pent up energy out there waiting and trying to get out. The issues
under re-evaluation since the Mercury Retrograde on XMAS and what the Lunar Eclipse on New Year’s Eve set in motion are
going to demand their due. I hope you got your haircut last week like I suggested because its time to work it. In a nutshell? With
Saturn’s influence going retrograde as Mercury goes direct and the Solar Eclipse lighting the fuse its time to finally throw off all
that isn’t working anymore. Relationships, self doubt, low self esteem. It may feel like you need to balance how others see you
and what they want with the reality of who you are and what you can give. It won’t be easy to do but if you don’t do it now you
won’t be optimally ready for when the rest hits. Saturn doesn’t take any prisoners. You have the choice to listen and do or listen
and not do. But know Saturn will be back and each time it will be harder. Saturn is Retrograde until 05/30/2010 at 2:11p EST.

Mercury is still center stage. Amidst the current Retrograde Mercury meets (conjunct) the Sun on 01/05/2010 at 2:06p EST
for the "Inferior Conjunction" of the Sun and Mercury. The Inferior Conjunction is the second meeting of the Sun and Mercury
in their cycle together. The first began the cycle at the Superior Conjunction which occurred on 11/05/2009 at 3:03a EST. This
meeting often represents a point in the Mercury Retrograde cycle where thing start to clear up. Tasks delayed start to move.

planets (inside the orbit of the Earth around the Sun) together. Mercury is how you communicate, think and Venus rules your
sense of peace, beauty, self-worth, women in your life,and relationships amongst many other symbols. Combine Mercury with
Venus and you have the beginning of the next cycle of how Venus is going to express itself. No surprise that it occurs in current
powerhouse Capricorn. There is a lot more activity in Capricorn to come before the Sun leaves and enters Aquarius. In a
nutshell? As we continue to accept our new limitations and turn them around into stepping stones for our growth and
development we begin to express it in ourselves and in our make-up. Incorporation of the reality into our sense of self, self
